Overview
Write on! is an AI writing assistant designed for neurodivergent learners, English Language Learners, and others needing writing support. We built this policy around one goal: transparency you can actually trust.
1. Data Collection
We collect only what the app needs to work:
- Email and password, via Firebase, for secure login
- User-generated writing content, so we can give you feedback
- Anonymized app usage metrics, to improve how the app functions
2. What Is NOT Collected
We do not use location tracking, camera or microphone access, biometric data, or third-party ad tracking. We never sell your data.
3. Children's Privacy
Every student account needs approval from a parent or guardian. At sign-up the student gives a parent's email address; we email the parent, and the account is paused until they approve. A parent can instead ask us to delete the account, and can withdraw approval at any time. We comply with COPPA (the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act).
4. Data Usage
The information we collect supports login functionality, content synchronization, personalized AI feedback, and app performance improvements.
5. Data Protection
We use industry-standard encryption and secure authentication. Passwords are never stored in plain text.

7. Your Rights
You can access, delete, download, or request corrections to your data at any time by writing to aria.nyx@astravoxis.com. To delete an account and everything in it, see Delete your account.

If this policy changes, we'll communicate it clearly — no fine-print surprises or obfuscating language.
